2007-02-21 [Annie]: um...you mean floating instead of float? as in, you won't use the word float and you will use the word floating? in that case you should try to make it the word float and if you can't then you can leave it as floating and yes you'll have to bold it if you're using it as one of the five words.
OR
if you're just using the word floating as any old word that you're writing and you're going to use the word float as well, then no you don't need to bold it. :)

It says your paragraph "need not be" a whole story, but doesn't say "it cannot be" a whole story. Also because I already announced the winners and I believe [pirate witch] did a 1st place job with her very short story. I'll clarify in the rules about how long the writing should be so it doesn't happen again. ;) Thanks!

Hmm. Maybe more distinct colours would help? Maybe even ribbon colours: blue, red, and yellow or green?
2007-03-11 [Annie]: Well I went for fancier colors and it didn't work, and I really want the book as the background. The problem is that no matter what color I pick, it's either too dark, too light, or doesn't match. I'll give it another go sometime later. :/

As for entering more than one entry, I'm going to say yes you can, but only one of your entries can win. I can't have the same person getting first, second, and third. :P
Willow Rose, you're right, I don't want sexually explicit material (why don't I have that in the rules? :P), but if you can write sensuality in a way that is sort of censored I think it's alright. Just do the best you can, submit your writing, and I'll take a look. If I have a problem, I'll let you know. :)
